To every heart that grieves

Don't give up or give in. God will respond to you, God will answer your cries.

“Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones; and when you have laboriously accomplished your daily task, go to sleep in peace. God is awake.”

Victor Hugo

There is purpose in our sorrow, we are broken, yes, but God reaches us in that brokenness.

In fact, Isaiah 53:3-5

Today's New International Version (TNIV)

3 He was despised and rejected by others,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

4 Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

God used suffering, and sorrow, and turned it into redemption.

Reach out in times of sorrow.
God is there.
